Founded in 1947 by Harry Retter, All State Electric Motors has been serving Oklahoma industries for more than six decades. Along with his three sons, Francis, “Junior," and Louis, the family grew the business and eventually moved from downtown Oklahoma City to its current location on Linwood Boulevard.
Today, Louis, the only surviving son, runs the business with his granddaughter, Alexy and her husband, Jacob. Together, the three continue to grow the business that Harry built - by providing exceptional service, building relationships with their customers, and serving the community.
I walked into my house at 3:30 on a Monday. For some reason I went home a little early. When I walked in the door I noticed the AC was off. I looked at the Unit and removed the capacitor to replace. I had it tested and found that it was good. I removed the electric fan from the unit and ran as fast as could to Louis at ALL STATE ELECTRIC Motors. It was 4:55 and he checked my motor and fixed me up with a new one staying for nearly an hour after business hours to help me. I will never go any place else again for my capacitors or motors. Great service and a great attitude.
Opened my pool and it looked like a swamp and the pump motor wouldn't run. Took it in to them in the morning and they had me up and running by that same evening. Good group to deal with. Very professional and courteous
Hot day. After 12 noon on Saturday. A/C breaks. I called all over the metro to find the capacitor I needed. Everywhere was either closed or didn't have the one I needed. No Heat and Air Company would sell me one. I was about to resign my family to sweltering through the weekend until in my last breath we found All State Electric Motors and called them. Louis was about to close up shop for the day but said he'd wait for me to get there. Now that's service!!! Thank you, Louis! It was an unforgettable day. All State Electric Motors saved us, and they're my new go-to place.
